EXPANSION
Today, we have over 600 students and pupils. We have classes from Creche and Pre-School to Senior Secondary 3. We also have a team of well-trained teachers who are totally dedicated and committed to the task. This team is headed by a highly experienced School Administrator who is very erudite and sound in running a vision driven institution as we have here.
NewPhase Academy is fully registered with the State Ministry of Education and the Corporate Affairs Commission.
We have fully equipped modern Science Laboratories approved by both WAEC and NECO.
The school is also fully accredited by both the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and the National Examinations Council (NECO) to serve as their Examination Centres for both Junior and Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations.
WHY ARE WE INVOLVED IN EDUCATION AS A CHURCH
History has been proved to be a very effective guide in the adventure of life. History shows that modern education in Nigeria, and indeed the world at large began with the advent and the advance of Christianity. This is why no other group, including Governments, has been able to handle educational matters as efficiently as the Church till today.
The first known school in Nigerian was established by Mr. & Mrs. deGraft in Badagry in 1843, and the name of the school was “The Nursery of the Infant Church”!
By 1845, the CMS Mission also established two schools in Badagry before proceeding to Abeokuta.
The first school in Eastern Nigeria was opened in 1856 by the foremost Nigerian indigenous missionary, Rev. Samuel Ajayi Crowther. It was a primary school for ages 6 – 10 years.
In Nigerian history, the 40 years’ period of 1842 – 1882 was marked by intensive missionary activities; and the colonial masters actually left the educational programs exclusively to the missionaries to handle.
The famous Topo Industrial School for delinquent children was established in 1876 by the Roman Catholic Mission.
The First Government Secondary School in Nigeria, the King’s College, Lagos, was founded in 1909. That was 50 years after the first Missionary Secondary School, CMS Grammar School, was established in 1859.
By 1922, the total Government assisted schools in Nigeria were 195 with children population of 28,000; while Mission Schools were 2,432 with a population of 122,000!
It was this educational revolution from the early twentieth century that was largely responsible for the move towards Nigerian independence in 1960, and to a large extent, the pre and post independent economic growth in Nigeria.
Following the trend of history, the present wave of mission involvement in promoting education in Nigeria can easily be understood. This is because the Christian Missions are more committed to investing into lives than the quest for financial gain, which is the driving force of the business people.
Christian missions will be increasingly involved in contributing to the educational development of our great nation, Nigeria, forever.
Our goal is to motivate our students to aspire to greater dreams, acquire more knowledge, take on more challenges, and evolve further in their individual life journeys.

OUR VISION AND PASSION
For any adventure to prove successful, it must be undertaken with a passion. Passion is fueled by vision.
The passion behind the NewPhase Academy is drawn from the vision of NewPhase Full Gospel Ministry to raise a people who shall build the old waste places, and to raise the foundations of many generations (Isaiah 58:11-12).
OUR GOALS
The goal of NewPhase Academy is to provide standard and quality education for the children of low-income earners at affordable cost, yet maintaining high standard.
Our second goal is to inculcate sound Christian Character training in the children for quality personality development toward a great future.
VISION STATEMENT
“Raising a Solid Foundation for the Child for a Great Future”.
This solid foundation involves both Academic and Character development.
In a corrupt and perverse generation that we are today, this is not going to be cheap, but with God, all things are possible.
As a Christian mission, we engage the unfailing scriptural principles of God’s Word as contained in the Holy Bible to train our children for the desired change.
